Saesol Labs (the "Company") values the privacy of users of ooparts (the "Service"). In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, we establish and disclose this Privacy Policy to protect users' personal information and promptly handle related concerns.
1. Personal Information We Collect and How We Collect It
1-1. Information collected during sign-up
- Email address, nickname, and profile image (optional)
- Social account identifier (UID) from supported login providers (Apple, Google, Kakao, Naver, LINE)
- Result of the confirmation that the user is at least 14 years old
1-2. Information automatically collected while using the Service
- Device information (OS, device model) and app version
- Service usage records, access time, and error logs
- Screen views, feature usage events, and app instance identifiers collected through Firebase/Google Analytics
1-3. Information provided while using the Service
- Conversation content with AI characters, episode inputs, and play records
- User-provided content such as characters, episodes, profiles, uploaded images, and image URLs
- Payment and Service usage records, including portal purchases, portal spending, and subscription status
2. Purposes of Using Personal Information
The Company uses collected personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service: User identification, AI character conversations, and episode content
- Improving the Service: AI model quality improvement, screen and feature usage analysis, and error resolution
- Payment management: Portal purchase and usage history management, subscription renewal and cancellation processing
- Customer support: Responding to inquiries and resolving disputes
- Legal obligations: Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
As a general rule, the Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties. Exceptions may apply where the user has given prior consent or where required by law.
3-1. Entrusted Processing and External Services
The Company may use the following external services to operate the Service, manage payments, provide AI features, and analyze usability:
- Google Firebase / Google Analytics: authentication, cloud storage, app analytics, and collection of screen and feature usage events
- Apple, Google, Kakao, Naver, LINE: social login and account identification
- RevenueCat: subscription and in-app purchase status management, including Firebase/Google Analytics integration for payment lifecycle events
- Apple / Google: app store payment processing and payment record management
- OpenRouter and AI model/API providers: processing input content to provide AI conversations, episodes, and image-based features
The Company does not send email addresses, nicknames, profile images, raw conversation content, raw episode input, raw search terms, or raw Firebase UIDs to Google Analytics.
4. Retention and Destruction of Personal Information
4-1. Retention period
- Member account information and Service content: until account deletion or achievement of the processing purpose
- Payment, settlement, dispute response, and access records: for the period required by applicable law or necessary for dispute response
- Information that must be retained by law is stored separately for the required period and then destroyed.
4-2. Destruction procedure
- Personal information is destroyed without delay once the retention period expires or the purpose of processing has been achieved.
- Electronic files are deleted in a way that prevents restoration.
5. User Rights
Users may exercise the following rights:
- Request access: Access to the status of personal information processing
- Request correction or deletion: Correction or deletion of inaccurate personal information
- Request suspension of processing: Suspension of personal information processing
- Account deletion: Users may delete their account in the app settings. Information that must be retained by law may be stored separately.

6. Measures to Ensure Security of Personal Information
The Company takes the following technical and administrative measures to protect personal information:
- Encryption of personal information (TLS in transit and encryption at rest)
- Access control management and retention of access records
- Operation of security systems to prevent hacking and related incidents
7. Protection of Children's Personal Information
The Company does not collect personal information from children under the age of 14. If we confirm that a child under 14 has registered for the Service, we will delete the account and destroy the related personal information.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
- This Privacy Policy may be changed in accordance with applicable laws and internal operating policies.
- Material changes will be announced in the Service before they take effect.
