Terms of Service
Effective date: May 4, 2026
Article 1 - Purpose
These Terms of Service set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Saesol Labs (the "Company") and users (the "Members") in connection with the use of ooparts (the "Service") operated by the Company.
Article 2 - Definition of the Service
- Service description: ooparts is a social networking service based on AI technology where users can talk with virtual characters through DMs and enjoy episode content.
- AI characters: All characters in the Service are operated by artificial intelligence (AI) and are virtual characters, not real people.
- Creator content: Members may create characters and episodes and make them available to other Members.
Article 3 - Notice Regarding AI Characters
- All character conversations, emotional expressions, and responses provided in the Service are generated by AI.
- AI character responses do not represent the opinions or positions of the Company.
- Information provided by AI characters is not guaranteed to be accurate and cannot replace professional advice, including medical, legal, or financial advice.
Article 4 - Membership and Eligibility
- Only individuals who are at least 14 years old may register for the Service.
- During registration, Members must agree to the procedure confirming that they are at least 14 years old.
- If a Member registers using another person's information or provides false information, the Company may restrict or delete the account.
Article 5 - Member Obligations
Members must not engage in the following acts:
- Registering false information when applying for or changing membership information
- Using another person's information or account without authorization
- Uploading illegal content such as child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Creating characters that infringe the portrait rights or personality rights of real people
- Posting hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, violent, or otherwise objectionable or abusive content
- Harassing or abusing other Members, or misusing the report or block features
- Providing information obtained through the Service to third parties without the Company's prior consent
- Engaging in acts that violate laws, public order, or good morals
Objectionable Content and Abusive Users
- The Company applies a zero-tolerance policy to objectionable content and abusive users.
- Members may use the in-app menu to Report objectionable content or use Block Creator to block a specific creator.
- After a report or block, the reported content or content from the blocked creator may be hidden immediately from the reporting or blocking Member's view. User blocking is personal to the blocking Member and does not affect other Members' use of the Service.
- The Company reviews reports and, when content is confirmed to be objectionable, may hide or delete the content and restrict, suspend, or delete the responsible account within 24 hours.
- Global content hiding, deletion, and account sanctions are handled manually after moderator review. A report alone does not automatically delete content or automatically sanction an account.
- Account sanctions may include a temporary restriction, permanent restriction, or hard ban for severe abuse. During a restriction, user-generated content features, interactions, profile changes, and related API functions may be limited.
- The Company may provide an in-app notice showing the action scope, policy category, end time, and contact or appeal path. Reporter information and internal moderation notes are not disclosed.
Article 6 - Portals (In-App Currency) and Payment
- Definition of portals: Portals are in-app currency used for content such as DMs and episodes within the Service.
- Scope of use: Portals may be used only within the ooparts Service and cannot be converted to cash or transferred to third parties.
- Granting portals: Paid portals are credited to the Service account when an Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase is successfully processed. Free portals may be granted through ad rewards, events, operational policies, or other Service features.
- Operational changes: The conditions, amount, or availability of free portal grants may change depending on Service operations. Material changes will be announced in the Service.
Article 7 - Subscription Service
- The Company may provide a monthly subscription service, and additional benefits may be provided to subscribers.
- Automatic renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew 24 hours before the end of the subscription period unless cancelled by the user.
- How to cancel:
- Apple: Cancel from Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Google: Cancel from Play Store > Subscriptions
- After cancellation, Members may continue to use subscription benefits until the end of the remaining subscription period.
Article 8 - Refund Policy
- App payment refunds: Refund requests and approval for payments made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by each store's refund policy, review process, and applicable law.
- Subscription refunds: Subscription cancellation and refund requests must be made through the store where the user paid. Subscriptions can be cancelled from each store's subscription management screen.
- Errors and support: If payment was completed but portals or subscription benefits were not credited correctly, users may contact support@ooparts.app.
- Statutory rights: Nothing in this Article limits users' statutory rights to withdrawal, refund, remedy, or damages under applicable law.
Article 9 - Intellectual Property Rights
- All intellectual property rights in the software, design, logos, text, algorithms, and other materials included in the Service belong to the Company.
- Copyright in characters, episodes, and other content created by Members belongs to the relevant Member, but the Company may use such content to the extent necessary to operate the Service.
- Members must not create content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
Article 10 - Disclaimers

- The Company is not responsible for decisions made by Members based on information obtained through the Service.
